Today was the first day of a pottery class that Kristin and I are taking.  It was tons of fun!  Kristin has taken several classes before and has been throwing pots for many years, so she just got right to work making beautiful things.  🙂  But I’ve never done anything with clay before, so I was raptly listening to the instructor, long-time friend of the Looneys and former correspondent for the original Wunderland.com webzine, Gina Mai Denn.  Here she is demonstrating how to center your clay on the wheel.
