Hi!  Thanks for checking out my blog!  My name is Laurie Menke, and I am the personal assistant to Kristin & Andy Looney, founders of Looney Labs, a table-top game company.  I am affectionately referred to as “The House Elf” (a Harry Potter reference… and yes, they let me wear clothes).  🙂  I started out more than a decade ago as a fan of Looney Labs and the Looneys themselves, and pinch myself daily at my luck that I now live with them at Wunderland.Earth and get to be an integral part of their lives.  Wow!

That’s where this blog comes in.  As the House Elf, I get to know the Looneys in a way that few others do, and I want to share some of that with other fans.  So this blog will provide exactly one post of Looney life daily.  I will basically be an “embedded reporter” keeping you up-to-date on all things Looney.  Most days will be short entries… a sentence or a paragraph or just a photo with caption.  Some days will be more detailed… a page or three of text and images on a particular topic, audio or video content, or some other special treat.  I hope to involve you, the fans, as much as possible, and always encourage you to contact me with blog ideas, questions, or feedback.

What About Alison?

For those of you who don’t yet know, after 15 years together, Alison and the Looneys have ceased sharing a household.  This was a mutually good decision for everyone.  Kristin and Andy are now back at Wunderland, and Alison remains at Pepperland.  They are still the best of friends and co-workers, and see each other most days.  All are happy and well.  🙂
